This page describes what information we actually collect through thermalharbor.com and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Request a Part / RFQ form: name, company, email, phone, the part or equipment you’re asking about, quantity, shipping ZIP code, and an optional nameplate photo.
- Contact form: name, email, company, and your message.
- Orders: billing and shipping details needed to fulfill an order, handled through WooCommerce.
- Basic site cookies: used for cart and session functionality (for example, remembering what’s in your cart). We don’t run third-party ad-tracking on this site.
- Visit statistics: we count page visits with our own simple counter: the page viewed, the website that linked you here, whether you are on a phone or a computer, and the part numbers typed into our part search (to learn which parts buyers need). It uses no cookies and nothing is shared with third parties. Your IP address is never stored; it is only used, in scrambled form that changes every day, to tell how many different people visited.
What we use it for
Solely to respond to your request, confirm sourcing and fitment, quote a price, and fulfill an order. We don’t use it for marketing emails unless you separately ask us to keep you updated.
Who we share it with
Thermal Harbor doesn’t hold warehouse stock — your part ships to you directly from our sourcing partner. That means we share your shipping address and order details with that supplier, because it’s how your order actually gets to you. We share only what’s necessary for them to source and ship your specific order, not your full contact-form message or anything beyond that. We don’t sell your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
As long as reasonably needed to fulfill your request or order, and to meet our own record-keeping and tax obligations afterward.
Your options
Email sales@thermalharbor.com if you’d like a copy of the information we have about you, or want it deleted, and we’ll take care of it directly — we’re a small team, so this is handled by a person, not an automated portal.
