Thermal Harbor is a distributor of hard-to-find commercial and industrial replacement components — fans and related parts for data center precision cooling, HVAC and refrigeration, and industrial drives for equipment such as commercial laundry machines.
Why we exist
When a precision-cooling fan fails, the part behind the equipment manufacturer's own service number is often made by a small handful of specialist manufacturers — but finding out which exact one, in which exact voltage and configuration, is genuinely hard. Reseller listings routinely guess from part-number family resemblance and get it wrong. We built Thermal Harbor to do that cross-referencing work properly and show our confidence level honestly, instead of quietly upgrading a guess into a "guaranteed fit."
How we verify a part
Documentation first
We start from the equipment manufacturer's own service literature, parts manuals or official cross-reference sheets — not a competitor's listing.
Honest confidence levels
Every part is labeled exact OEM match, probable, or compatible candidate. We never upgrade a guess into a confirmed fit because it would be convenient.
Suffix-level precision
A part number one suffix off is a different part. We treat near-identical model strings as unconfirmed until we've checked the exact documentation.
Verified sourcing
We work with authorized distributors we've independently checked, and we flag known counterfeit risk in the categories where it's a real, documented problem.
