Technical notes
How this cross-reference is documented
Two Alliance documents connect the numbers. Alliance's parts store lists UniMac service part F8169418 (“DRIVE PF C80P/N OPL 236/4601”) as replacing F8103709, F8168604 and F8044401. Alliance's washer-extractor AC drive manual (F232120, Table 2) lists drive part numbers F8044401 and F8168604 as Allen-Bradley catalog 22B-D010N104 on 380-480 V, 50-60 Hz, 3-phase machines. F8169418 itself does not appear in that table, and F8103709 appears only in the store's replacement list, not in the manual — so the link runs F8169418 → F8168604 / F8044401 → 22B-D010N104. The manual prints the catalog number as “22B-D010N104xx”; the “xx” is Alliance's placeholder for a series suffix, used on every row of the table.
Lifecycle: the 22B is discontinued
Rockwell discontinued the PowerFlex 40 22B-D010N104 on June 30, 2025 and lists 25B-D010N104 as its engineering replacement. That is Rockwell's successor in its own product line — we have found no Alliance document that lists it for these washers, and a different drive would need its own setup. We supply the catalog number Alliance's manual specifies.
240 V machines use a different drive
The same Alliance table lists a separate 5 HP drive for 200-240 V machines (Allen-Bradley 22B-B017N104, Alliance F8044301 / F8168603). Check your supply voltage before ordering.

How to confirm this is your part
- Read the model and serial number from the washer-extractor's nameplate - Alliance asks for both whenever you contact them about a machine.
- Read the catalog number on the existing drive's nameplate. It should read 22B-D010N104 (sometimes followed by a series letter).
- Check the Alliance service part number: F8169418, or one of the earlier numbers F8168604, F8044401 or F8103709.
- Confirm a 380-480 V three-phase supply. 200-240 V machines use a different drive.
- Send us a photo of the old drive's nameplate with your request - we confirm the match before you pay.
Common questions
What does Alliance F8169418 cross-reference to?
The Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 40 22B-D010N104. Alliance's parts store lists F8169418 as replacing F8168604 and F8044401 (and F8103709), and Alliance's drive manual lists F8168604 and F8044401 as catalog 22B-D010N104 on 380-480 V machines.
Is the 22B-D010N104 discontinued?
Yes. Rockwell lists it as discontinued as of June 30, 2025. Unused surplus units are still available on the secondary market; we confirm a specific unit before quoting.
What replaced the PowerFlex 40 22B-D010N104?
Rockwell lists the 25B-D010N104 as its engineering replacement. Alliance doesn't document it for these washers, and it would need its own setup, so we match the catalog number Alliance's manual specifies instead.
Does the replacement drive need programming?
Yes, plan for it. Alliance's manual says the PowerFlex drives in its equipment use Alliance-specific parameters and that a drive reset to factory defaults must be re-loaded with Alliance's values. A technician enters them through the drive's keypad.
How do I confirm which drive my UniMac washer needs?
Compare three things: the machine's model and voltage, the Alliance service part number (F8169418 or an earlier number above), and the catalog number on the old drive's nameplate. Send us a nameplate photo and we'll check it.
Can the machine serial number confirm the correct drive?
Not on its own. Alliance asks for model and serial number when you contact them, and its manual identifies the drive by the catalog number on the drive's own nameplate. Send both, plus a photo of the old drive's nameplate.
